thinking of closing down chickenstout since practically no one goes there. not that my life is anymore interesting than anyone else's of course, so i don't really blame them. Blessed Union of Souls rocks!
Blessed Union Of Souls - Let Me Be The One
Blessed Union of Souls - She Likes Me For Me
Other decent songs (alternatives):
Smashing Pumpkins - 1979
The Darkness - I Believe in a Thing Called Love
(btw, I accidentally mixed the above title with another song.)
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Scorpions - Winds Of Change
The Zombies - Care of Cell 44
Unsung Hero of the Day:
UK Subs
It's tough to locate their albums, so I'd suggest downloading them to enjoy them.
Songs to Get:
UK Subs - Emotional Blackmail
UK Subs - Tomorrow's Girls
Btw, I'd understand if you can't appreciate their songs, few people can.

oh my god.
Dad just fixed the internet connections, so I immediately got down to downloading the songs Perry recommended. And After just downloading the first few songs of Toad The Wet Sprocket (this was spelt incorrectly the previous entry), I'm like, wow. It's amazingly good. More songs like these could raise the fanbase of alternatives.
Toad The Wet Sprocket - Fall Down
Toad The Wet Sprocket - All I Want
Toad The Wet Sprocket - Good Intentions
Hope the other bands are as good as this. Heard from dimi that Smashing Pumpkins is "freaking good" as well. heh, let's wait and see.
To add on to the list (perry's recommended bands):
Pearl Jam
Godsmack
Sound Garden

perry came over just now, left not too long ago. before that, he asked to see my cd collection. seems like we have quite alot in common! he has not much of a preference as to which genre sounds better, having a nice balance between sentimental acoustic, pop emo, alternative grunch, jazz, blues, oldies, and metal. sounds totally like me in fact. oops haha anyway, he recommended me quite a few nice and rare bands, so i thought it'd be good to say it here before i forgot:
Live
Scorpions
Smashing Pumpkins
The Zombies
Toad of Wet Sprocket
and a few more which i cant remember the name. damn.
anyway i haven't really heard their songs but will do so as soon as i can get my darned comp too work.
Album of the Year, Austrailia - Wolfmother.
Slow Metal, interestingly unique, the vocalist voice stands out slightly but ever so significantly from other metal vocalists. yet, there's defeinitely room for improvement. like improving the design of the album cover. the songs are great though, and you could get the album from me, which i purchased in aussie, if you know me. chao!

Dragonforce - Sonic Firestorm
Excellent.

Rhonin
A band mainly (maybe solely) consisting of guys from VS (Victoria School). Thier more famous songs in clude: Black Maria (which is constantly being played on Perfect 10), and One More Moment. Black Maria reminds me of U2 - Vertigo, while One More Moment is a sad, gloomy, sentimental song, both of which shows how flexible the band is, to attempt singing in 2 different genres, and handling the task rather well. Definitely worth downloading, and if possible, purchase their album. You won't regret it, trust me.
Rhonin - One More Moment
Don't take too long to say
I love you to the ones you love
'cause time has the habit of slipping away
and out on a clear blue sky
when lightning strikes on a sunny day
then take me in nand keep me from the rain
and the words that seem too hard to say
come out when you've gone away
stay a little while and hear me say
and I want u here tonight
and I need u by my side
for just one more moment
for just one more moment with you
turn away and say goodbye with
each and everyone that passes by
like a distant memory
time keeps slipping away
and time will turn again
and time will be the one who holds you down
and the words that seem so hard to say
come out when you've gone away
stay a little while
and hear me say
and I want you here tonight
and I need you by my side
for just one more moment
for just one more moment with you
and I want you here tonight
and I need you by my side
for just one more moment
for just one more moment with you
sometimes time will treat you bad
before we even know what's wrong
and in the end it hits you hard
please tell me you'll be strong

bought 2 new albums last night
YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL
HITZ
Both are superb compilations, of both modern and classical hits. Considered to be "BEST BUY"s of Sembawang, they certainly do their titles justice. Have a go at them.
